What do we use your information for? 

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To send periodic emails
The email address you provide for donations or fundraising order processing, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your transaction, in addition to receiving occasional organization news, updates, etc.

Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Payment information that is collected over the phone is used solely for the purpose of arranging donations, such as ACH set up or recurring transactions from you credit card.

Personal information collected for the purpose of mission trips is shared only with TWAW Staff members and vendors in Belize who require this information for your safety. 

How do we protect your information?

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will be kept on file for more than 60 days only in the case of recurring transactions.

Other personal information submitted for the use of mission trips is destroyed within 30 days of your return.

Email information is kept indefinitely. You have the option to opt-out of our communications at any time.

We do not use cookies.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties? 

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our ministry, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website is directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

Offline Privacy Policy 

This online privacy policy also applies to information collected offline, except for necessary information collected for mission trip participation from those 13 years of age or younger.
