The Word at Work seems to be constantly changing, growing, and morphing into what God wants us to be.  We are so fortunate to be a part of what Pedro & Maria Perez are doing in Belize through Christian Sewing Partners of Belize ... take a moment to read more about our most recent development, as written by Pedro & Maria:

Greetings and thank you so much.  God is good.  As you see in this photo, we have just completed the Las Flores Training Center which will be used for church, Sunday school classes, sewing program, computer classes and other  activities that will empower the women of that neighborhood.  We are in the process of equipping i; recruitment has started so if you know of anyone in Belmopan/Las Flores area encourage them to inquire at 627-5145.

We thank Kenny of TWAW, Gilbert Budna and the Brothers of Hope and Builders Hardware and the many church members and Pastor Jeanette Cordon's children that helped in the construction of the building.

We acknowledge and give a ton of gratitude to all who made this possible:

Tim Tam and Tim Hagen for their support and for providing the  sewing machines and computers for these centers. Huge Appreciation to Rev. Tim Tam of TWAW, Gilly Canton, Daniel Gutierrez and Leila Leslie of Belize Natural Energy, Mrs. Sandra Bedran and Claudia Lopez of Atlantic Bank, Ricardo Pelayo and Marcia Rodriquez of Atlantic Bank International, Martha Guerra, Lydia Leacock and Shana Lopez of Atlantic Insurance Company and the many more who continue to partner with us to  bring these projects to bear.. We give God the glory for the  18 training centers where we are empowering women and touching their lives and the 4 schools where we have had the opportunity to work with them.

Together with The Word at Work and other partners we have helped construct four buildings so far.  This is a miracle which shows that when we team up good things happen.. we were able to complete an entire  building of 400 sq feet with electricity for  22.50 a sq foot.

For your info ... if you have a small contract we have just opened a mini-factory and incubator at Centro Vision where we can now do your uniforms, curtains, overalls for field workers and many other items under the Mareshah Brand  (Mareshah- meaning women "over the top") ... help us to keep some of these women motivated and working, share this info with your friends.  We have started with 4 ladies and hope to add more as more jobs become available.
