Unloading a container in Belize
Before Christmas TWAW sent two containers to Belize. I asked our volunteers in Belize to capture the moment with pictures to give our supporters a taste of what it's like to unload a shipping container. This particular container had lots of heavy things on it. We loaded the back of the container with a forklift. But Kenny had arranged for help, and our good friend Francis Woods came with a front-end loader and help from the prison.

Long-term volunteers Zachary and Rachel Cordel were there to help as well as Pedro Perez, and I think I see Kenny's wife Tina in some of these pictures. This particular container had to be unloaded and distributed all at once as TWAW does not have a warehouse in Belize to store and sort the things we send. As you can see, it's a big job--organizing all these people. Thanks to Kenny for a job well done!

The next day, Kenny and Zachary helped deliver some of the larger items including this chest freezer for Holy Cross Anglican School in San Pedro. From beginning to end, these containers involve a lot of people. It's wonderful to be in a job that lets me see God bringing all kinds of people together to accomplish a task!
